About Kelly Yang

Kelly Yang

I'm a UX designer based in San Francisco, currently working at Apple to design the internal apps employees use daily.

I studied Human-Computer Interaction, Business Administration, and Decision Science at Carnegie Mellon University, which taught me to design digital environments, while accounting for business needs and human behavior.

As a designer, I care most about the people who products tend to overlook, which is why I design with ethics in mind and champion accessibility from the start. When I can, I also love to explore building what I design, like this site. I'm drawn to tools that pull scattered work into one place, whether that's three expense apps or three notes about matcha.

In my free time, you can find me instructing a class at Pure Barre, exploring new variations of matcha lattes, or perfecting my sourdough bakes (in true SF form).
